My story

I am a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist specializing in personalized nutrition.
Before I decided to embark on the road of nutrition, I spent many years working in the health sector, back home in Croatia and here in the UK.
In more recent years I worked as a Specialist Dental Technician at the King’s College Dental Institute in London.
With a background in healthcare, I always had an interest in healthy living and healthy nutrition, and I understood the importance of food for overall health.
Growing up in Croatia in a family and culture where food was freshly cooked from scratch, and at the center of life in every household, influenced the way I feel about food and nutrition in general.
I was also aware of the importance of knowing how food is produced and where it comes from.
However, just knowing that healthy nutrition is good was not the answer to many questions I had about nutrition.
The missing link in this knowledge was the biochemistry of food and how exactly nutrition affects our body, our health, and our well-being.
Having my own family, with two children both "fussy eaters", increased my curiosity about nutrition.
This curiosity and desire to learn more about nutrition, led me to enroll in the nutritional therapy course and qualify as a Nutritional Therapist.
I studied Biomedicine and Nutrition at the renowned College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, which alongside academic studies, included a rigorous approach to research and over 200 hours of clinical experience.
I hope that I can use the knowledge and skills I gained, to help you understand the power of food on your journey to better health and quality of life.
I've been living in the UK for 30 years and I live with my family in South-West London.
I am registered with BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council) and I am fully insured to practice as a Nutritional Therapist.
BANT acts as a professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioners in one-to-one clinical practice. By registering with BANT I demonstrate that I have a high standard of nutrition education, as well as extensive training in a 1:1 clinical setting.
CNHC's register is an approved Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.
As part of my Continuing Professional Development, I attend regular educational conferences and seminars to keep abreast of the latest evidence in conventional and natural medicine.
